CUSTOMTOOLS Installation is Unable to Locate the SQL Server Installer

Problem Statement

On the CUSTOMTOOLS installation, the CUSTOMTOOLS Installer cannot find installer package to install the Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Express SP2. For that reason, the CUSTOMTOOLS installation process gets terminated (Picture 1).

Reason For This Issue

The network or internet connection of the workstation the Microsoft SQL Server is being installed in, is encountering issues preventing you to download the Microsoft SQL Server installer from the Microsoft downloading service.

Solution

Check your workstation's network connection and make sure that you have a working internet connection too. If you need more help to fix the network and internet connection, please contact your environment administrator.
