We at CUSTOMTOOLS are committed to meet our customers and to closely co-operate with our resellers , and one of the ways we do this is by actively participating in events organized by our value added resellers. Last week, we had the privilege of attending the SOLIDWORKS What’s New 2024 event hosted by Generative Design Solutions Middle East (GDSME) in Dubai.
GDSME is an Engineering Solutions Company providing technology solutions and services to the construction and manufacturing sectors. Operating in Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and India, GDSME stands as the largest SOLIDWORKS reseller in the Middle East.
During the event, which attracted around 80 customers representing over 50 different companies, we had the opportunity to connect with Dassault Systèmes representatives, including the Senior Director Worldwide Sales. Although a planned dinner had to be rescheduled due to timetable challenges, the interactions were invaluable.
I had the honor of presenting a one-hour session on CUSTOMTOOLS, generating substantial interest and inquiries from the engaged audience. The features that garnered particular attention included sheet metal functionalities, drawing automation capabilities, and ERP integrations. These discussions showcased the versatility and relevance of our solutions in the SOLIDWORKS ecosystem.
Building on the relationships formed at the event, I met various professionals from GDSME, including my host, Karthikeyan. Having only crossed paths once before, at 3DEXPERIENCE World last year, this event allowed for deeper connections and discussions.
This occasion served as a pivotal step in expanding our customer base in this relatively new market for us. The positive response and engagement from the attendees have left us enthusiastic about future collaborations. We are already in the early stages of planning upcoming campaigns and exploring ways in which CUSTOMTOOLS can further assist GDSME customers with our tailored solution offerings.
As we continue our journey, we look forward to further strengthening our partnerships, contributing to the growth of CUSTOMTOOLS communities, and providing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of SOLIDWORKS users. Stay tuned for more updates on our ventures and collaborations in this dynamic region!
