We are now back from Los Angeles after attending the SOLIDWORKS World 2018. This event has always been very special for us as it is the best opportunity to meet with the SOLIDWORKS community and show them what we have been doing since the last SOLIDWORKS World. SOLIDWORKS World is a small world on its own where we can meet our partners, customers, SOLIDWORKS user group members, and old friends.
We also ran a presentation at the Partner Pavilion where we presented our drawings listing report (CUSTOMTOOLS Export) used to generate an Excel report containing a list of drawings and missing drawings. The presentation was recorded and you can watch it on our Facebook page.
This year, our focus was on CUSTOMTOOLS, as it has been since our first SOLIDWORKS World in 2002. Last year we introduced the Spare Parts Publisher and this year we extended the Publisher with an additional module called Documentation that allows you to publish documentations about your products online.
Another area where we have been focusing, this year, is the SOLIDWORKS PDM Tools. Those tools that have been co-developed with Nuovamacut, a SOLIDWORKS reseller from Italy. They have been developped for SOLIDWORKS PDM resellers and SOLIDWORKS PDM users. This was also a big hit and we received very high interest in those tools, especially for the Archive commander. Stay tune as we are soon going to run some webinars about the subject.
Once again we would like to thank you all who took the time to visit and talk to us. We hope that our solutions inspired you and we hope to see all next year in Dallas for the next SOLIDWORKS World.
Good bye L.A.
