CUSTOMTOOLS 2017 SP2 is live

The CUSTOMTOOLS team is pleased to announce that CUSTOMTOOLS 2017 SP2 is now available to all partners and customers having a valid CUSTOMTOOLS maintenance. The CUSTOMTOOLS software is accessed through our Customer Center by logging in with your serial number.

CUSTOMTOOLS 2017 SP2 is the last service pack release for the 2017 version. SP2 to supports SOLIDWORKS file version interoperability when used with SOLIDWORKS 2017 SP5. It means, that you are allowed to open SOLIDWORKS 2018 files in read-only mode with limited functionality.

CUSTOMTOOLS 2017 SP2 mainly contains fixes to existing features but it also brings some enhancements. The biggest enhancements are made to CUSTOMTOOLS Oscar Pro and Vertex Flow connectors. List of all fixed SPRs can be found in CUSTOMTOOLS Portal and all changed functionality is documented in What's new document that can be accessed through CUSTOMTOOLS help center.

The next CUSTOMTOOLS release will be 2018 SP1 which is due to February 2018.
