SolidWorks terminates unexpectedly when closing the application

If at least one file was opened in SolidWorks before closing the application SolidWorks will terminate unexpectedly giving a runtime error if CustomTools 2010 SP2 is used.

Applies to:
CustomTools 2010 SP2 and all SolidWorks versions

Symptom:
CustomTools terminates SolidWorks unexpectedly when closing SolidWorks application. Termination occurs if at least one file was opened during SolidWorks session. Abnormal program termination happens when unloading add-ins. In that point all data is saved and no data loss happens.

Reason:
Due to an error in CustomTools it tries to free same resources more than once.

Resolution:
Problem described has been addressed and fixed in CustomTools 2010 SP3 which will be available in September 2010. SPR0003202: CustomTools crashes during exiting SW if a document was opened in SW.
